New2WP.com Launch: Learn Even More About WordPress

As I write this, and try to finish the theme for this website so it can go live as soon as possible, I'm thinking back to earlier today (yesterday now since it's 3am) about what a great time it was even as a volunteer. Wordcamp Boston at the Microsoft N.E.R.D. Center in Cambridge, Ma. was awesome. If you were at Wordcamp Boston, or just so...
New2WP.com Launch: Learn Even More About WordPress

For those who don't know what Wordcamp is, it's a conference for everyone interested in WordPress blogging software, from beginning bloggers to advanced developers, and everyone in between. Though I wish I got a chance to see more of the presentations that were given, but the videos will be online soon so I can check them out when they are. The videos for the Ignite Wordcamp are up already so check those out if you haven't already. I'm happy I got the chance to meet so many interesting people at Wordcamp, and had a great experience volunteering.

I've been working on designing and developing WP theme of this site now for about 3-4 weeks, and am happy to say it's just about complete. The only thing left to do really is add the home page header area that will have the Most Popular posts and the jQuery featured post slider I designed. I still need to get that all set up, but until then the site should be good to go. If you happened to notice any bugs or problems please let me know in the comments below, as well as any feedback on the theme design or layout. I'd love to know what you think.

With the launch of New2WP.com (which by the way is running WordPress 3.0 Alpha), we hope to bring you useful and helpful information for whatever you might want to do or learn about WordPress. This site will be a valuable resource to some of those that were in attendance at Wordcamp, and anyone else that's looking to expand their knowledge of the best free open-source blogging software there is. We welcome any requests or topics for helping out with, and anything worth discussing related to WordPress. Anything goes as long as it's possible, and in most cases with WordPress, anything's possible.

On that note, let's get down and dirty with New2WP. Now who wants to learn some stuff about WordPress!!
