AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) provide opportunities to outstanding scientists and engineers to learn first-hand about policymaking while contributing their knowledge and analytical expertise to the federal policymaking course of. Fellows serve yearlong assignments in the govt, legislative and judicial branches of the federal authorities in Washington. Each year, this system adds to a rising corps over three,400 strong of policy-savvy leaders working throughout academia, authorities, nonprofits and business to serve the nation and the world.
