Fold 8 Pre Orders Smash European Records

Samsung’s new foldables are breaking pre-order records in Europe, with a 20% year-over-year increase in pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and Galaxy Z Flip 8. This increase is comparable to the pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 last year.

The company released this information ahead of the release date for these phones in Europe, which is set for August 7. All three devices will become available in Europe in just a couple of days.

Menno Van Den Berg, President of the European Telecom Office, said the reaction to the new Galaxy Z series across Europe is amazing. He added that surpassing pre-order targets for the previous generation foldable range demonstrates strong and growing consumer demand for foldable innovation.

Van Den Berg also noted that the reimagined Galaxy Fold8 has captured customers’ imagination ahead of launch on August 7. This suggests that Samsung’s efforts to innovate and improve its foldable devices are paying off.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 accounted for almost 40% of all pre-orders in Europe, making it the most popular amongst the new foldables. They prepared the most stock for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, as it was highly anticipated.

The phone offers a new form factor with a 4:3 screen aspect ratio when unfolded, and it’s quite short and wide when folded. When folded, the phone has a more compact display, and when unfolded, it has a great aspect ratio for consuming YouTube, movies, and TV shows.

As the release date approaches, it’s likely that demand for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and Galaxy Z Flip 8 will continue to grow. The company’s decision to release pre-order information ahead of the launch may be an attempt to build momentum and generate even more interest in the new devices.

Samsung is poised to capitalize on this demand. With the release date just around the corner, they will soon see how the devices perform in the market.

The devices will become available in Europe on August 7. With the pre-order records already broken, it’s likely that the devices will be in high demand when they’re released.

As the devices hit the market, customers will provide more reviews and feedback. This will give a better understanding of the devices’ performance and whether they live up to the hype surrounding them.

For now, it’s clear that Samsung’s new foldables are generating a lot of interest.

The future of foldable devices looks promising. If the trend continues, more manufacturers may invest in foldable technology, which could lead to even more innovative devices in the future.
