Samsung Galaxy S26 FE cases revealed early

The Galaxy S26 FE is set for an early September launch, most likely at the IFA trade show in Berlin. Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 FE at the same event last year. Before the official reveal, two cases for the new phone have appeared, showing its design and color choices.

Cases reveal color schemes and magnetic charging

The first case, a Clear Magnet Case, is a transparent shell with a built-in magnet for wireless charging. The design indicates the Galaxy S26 FE may lack internal magnets, though Samsung has not verified this.

A second option, a Silicon Magnetic Case, looks similar to covers for the Galaxy S26 series. It is thin and includes a magnet for use with charging accessories.

Both cases suggest two color options: Cobalt Violet and Mint. Cobalt Violet resembles the shade used in the standard Galaxy S26 lineup but features a silver frame instead of the darker accents from last year’s model. The silver trim also appeared on the Galaxy S25 FE.

Samsung typically expands color choices after launch. The Galaxy S25 FE shipped in three colors, and the company often adds more later.

Design holds few surprises

The phone’s design looks nearly identical to its predecessor. Case images show a vertical triple-camera array and slim but uneven bezels. The bottom bezel is slightly thicker than the others, a common feature in Samsung’s mid-range devices.

This consistency suggests Samsung is focusing on familiarity rather than major changes for its Fan Edition line. These models repurpose flagship features at a lower cost.

The Galaxy S26 FE will probably keep most of the Galaxy S26’s key features, such as its processor and display.

Price increase expected

Samsung has raised prices across its products recently, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and latest Galaxy Watch models. The Galaxy S25 FE debuted at $649, and the new model may see a $50 to $100 increase.

For now, the cases provide the best look at what’s coming.
